Ruth Langsford has spoken openly about moving forward with her life after her split from Eamonn Holmes,

revealing that she has fully accepted the end of their marriage and is embracing life as a strong, independent woman at 65.
The television presenter, best known for her work on Loose Women and This Morning,
has shared how she is focusing on her future and refusing to let the pain of the past hold her back.

A New Chapter After Divorce

Ruth and Eamonn, once one of Britain’s most beloved television couples,

shocked fans in May 2024 when they announced their separation after 14 years of marriage and 27 years together. Having spent 15 years co-hosting This Morning between 2006 and 2021, they had become a familiar and cherished duo on daytime television. However, their romantic partnership came to an end, leaving Ruth to embark on a new journey on her own.
Now, as she approaches her 65th birthday in March, Ruth has revealed she is looking at this milestone as an opportunity for strength and renewal. She acknowledges that while the breakdown of any relationship is difficult, she has made the conscious choice to move forward rather than dwell on the past.
“Relationship breakdowns are very difficult—marriage, friendship, whatever it is—but you just deal with it and move on,” she said. “You can either let yourself crumble or you pick yourself up and get on with life. It’s a choice.”
Embracing Life as a Single Woman
Despite the pain that comes with the end of a long-term relationship, Ruth is determined to embrace this new phase of her life with enthusiasm. She shares 22-year-old son Jack with Eamonn, and while family remains at the center of her world, she is also focusing on personal growth and self-care.
She has expressed that she is not letting the challenges of divorce define her. Instead, she is rediscovering who she is outside of her marriage and career, looking forward to new experiences, and enjoying the freedom that comes with being single.

Looking Ahead with Positivity
Ruth’s decision to move forward with strength and optimism sets an inspiring example for others facing similar situations. She acknowledges that adapting to life without Eamonn has been a significant adjustment, but she is choosing to see this transition as an opportunity rather than a setback.
As she prepares to celebrate her 65th birthday, Ruth is focusing on what makes her happy, surrounding herself with loved ones, and embracing all that life has to offer. Her determination to move forward with confidence serves as a reminder that new beginnings can be empowering, no matter what stage of life you are in.
