Greg Gutfeld received significant criticism for suggesting that Kat Timpf’s battle with cancer was a result of karma and something she had coming to her.

Greg Gutfeld took a moment on air to extend his support and well wishes to his longtime colleague, Kat Timpf, following the shocking revelation

that she was diagnosed with breast cancer just hours before giving birth.

During a recent episode of The Five, Gutfeld, who also hosts Gutfeld!,

shared an update on Timpf’s health with viewers who may not have been aware of her recent announcement.

A Life-Changing Moment Takes an Unexpected Turn

Kat Timpf, a well-known panelist on Gutfeld!, welcomed a baby boy last week.

However, just fifteen hours before going into labor, she received devastating news—she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Gutfeld, visibly moved by the news, took a moment to acknowledge the difficult timing of Timpf’s diagnosis while also expressing optimism about her treatment.

“In what was supposed to be one of the most beautiful moments of her life, she got some unexpected news,” Gutfeld shared during The Five’s closing segment, One More Thing.

Despite the tough situation, he reassured viewers that there is hope. “The good news is it’s Stage 0, so they’re confident that it hasn’t spread, and with quick and healthy treatment, she’s going to be back to work.”

Gutfeld also emphasized that Timpf would likely return to her panelist role in just a few months, as her doctors are confident in a positive outcome.

Kat Timpf Faces a Different Kind of Maternity Leave

Originally, Timpf had planned to take time off for maternity leave to focus on adjusting to life as a new mother. Now, she is facing an entirely different reality—one that includes immediate treatment for breast cancer.

In her public statement, Timpf revealed that her doctor has recommended a double mastectomy as soon as possible.

“These next three months of maternity leave are going to look a lot different than I’d anticipated,” she wrote, acknowledging the challenges ahead while remaining hopeful about her recovery.

A Show of Support from Colleagues

Gutfeld’s message of support was echoed by his co-host Dana Perino, who shared her own thoughts on Timpf’s resilience.

“She’s a tough little bugger,” Gutfeld remarked, expressing admiration for his colleague’s strength.

Perino added, “She is. And she’s going to come back and torture you, and I can’t wait for it,” bringing a moment of levity to an otherwise serious conversation.

Later on Gutfeld!, Gutfeld reiterated his sentiments, highlighting one silver lining in Timpf’s diagnosis.

“The good news is that if she hadn’t been pregnant, she wouldn’t have known, and she’s catching this cancer very early,” he said, pointing out the importance of early detection.

Timpf’s Strength and the Road Ahead

Throughout her career, Timpf has built a reputation for her sharp wit, humor, and strong opinions. Now, she is facing one of the toughest battles of her life, but with the support of her family, friends, and colleagues, she is determined to come through it stronger than ever.

Fans of Gutfeld! and The Five have already begun sending messages of encouragement, showing their love and support for Timpf during this challenging time.

While the road ahead may be difficult, one thing is certain—Timpf’s resilience and determination will carry her through, and her return to television will be eagerly awaited by her audience and colleagues alike.
