This Morning star Giles Brandreth has weighed in on Meghan Markle’s upcoming Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, 

and revealed how the Royal Family feels about the highly anticipated lifestyle show. 

Speaking to This Morning hosts Josie Gibson and Alison Hammond, Brandreth shared his insights on the new project 

and whether the royals are concerned about its release.

Are the Royals Concerned About Meghan’s Show?

During his appearance on the daytime show, Brandreth was asked if the Royal Family was “worried” about Meghan’s latest venture. 

However, according to him, the royals don’t seem to be paying much attention to it at all.

“I don’t think they’re even noticing it,” he stated. “They may now because if they’re sensible, they’ll be watching This Morning, but I think they were not even vaguely aware of it. It will be of concern to anyone.”

While the royal family may not be keeping tabs on the Netflix series, Alison Hammond made it clear that she would be watching. “I’ve noticed it, and I’m going to be all over it. I love stuff like that. It’s kind of reality TV but with royalty,” she remarked. Giles agreed, calling it “the kind of programme we enjoy.”

Brandreth offered his take on the upcoming show, making it clear that it won’t be a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the royal world. Instead, he described it as a “glossy, delightful lifestyle programme made by Americans, starring Meghan, who is already an American television star.”

Delayed Release Following California Wildfires

The highly anticipated show was originally scheduled for release earlier this year but was postponed due to the devastating wildfires in California. Meghan made the decision to delay the launch out of respect for those affected by the tragedy.

In a statement posted on Instagram on January 12, she expressed her gratitude to Netflix for their understanding and support. “I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California,” she wrote.

Reports suggest that With Love, Meghan will also include tributes to California and those who have suffered due to the natural disaster.
