Christina Haack is expressing deep regret over her marriage to Josh Hall as their split continues to grow more contentious. 

The HGTV star has revealed that she wishes she had taken legal precautions before tying the knot with Hall, 

stating that if she had fully understood the repercussions, she would have insisted on a prenuptial agreement or avoided the marriage altogether.

A Bitter Divorce Battle

During a recent episode of The Flip Off, a reality show featuring Haack, her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, 

and his wife Heather El Moussa, Haack opened up about the ongoing financial disputes with Hall. 

She confided in her friend Cassie, expressing frustration over Hall’s repeated financial demands. According to Haack, Hall has been making continuous offers that she finds unreasonable, leading her to believe that he is attempting to “retire off” of her hard-earned success.

“It’s crazy. He wants to retire off me,” Haack shared. “Honestly, if I would’ve really understood the repercussions of all of this, I would’ve gotten a prenup or I would’ve never married him.”

Claims of Financial Exploitation

Haack elaborated on how Hall’s demands have escalated since their split. She recounted that he recently made yet another financial proposal that she found shocking, calling it “asinine.” The HGTV star expressed confusion over why someone who did not have to work for years would attempt to take advantage of her in such a way.

Her friend Cassie weighed in on the situation, pointing out that Haack and Hall’s marriage was brief and that they did not share any children. “I just don’t understand when there’s no children involved that you share. It was a very short marriage,” Cassie said, emphasizing the emotional toll the situation has taken on Haack.

Haack agreed, admitting, “Yeah, it’s exhausting. I just can’t wait for it to be done. But I don’t think it’s going to happen any time soon.”

Dispute Over Property and Belongings

Beyond financial disagreements, Haack has accused Hall of taking items from her Tennessee home, a property she purchased before their marriage. She disclosed that when her parents arrived at the house to help move her belongings, they noticed that an ATV was missing. Haack claimed that Hall had taken it without her permission, reinforcing her belief that she needed to remove all her possessions before more went missing.

“When my parents got to the house, this was gone,” she explained while pointing to the off-road vehicle. “He took it. He thinks all of this is his even though I bought this before marriage.”

Feeling vulnerable, Haack made the decision to transport all of her belongings to her primary residence in Newport Beach, California, fearing that Hall would take more of her possessions. “That’s when I was like, ‘I need to get all this stuff out of here. Like, he’s just going to steal it all.’”

Josh Hall Responds to the Allegations

Hall did not remain silent amid Haack’s claims. Taking to social media, he posted a now-deleted Instagram story addressing the allegations. In response to reports that he had taken the ATV, he wrote, “Enough of the made-up BS… Washing and gassing it up for her parents’ arrival. 5 minutes away driving when asked. All clean and ready to go. Keep making up drama in my absence.”

While Hall attempted to dismiss Haack’s accusations, the ongoing back-and-forth suggests that their legal battle is far from over.

The End of a Short-Lived Marriage

Haack and Hall’s relationship has been in the public eye since their marriage in 2022. Their split became official in July 2024 when Hall filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” and requesting spousal support.
