Kelly Brook faces intense backlash after declaring that she HATES women with children. But why?

Kelly Brook has long been a familiar face in the entertainment industry, known for her modeling career, TV appearances, and, more recently, her role as a radio presenter.

While she has experienced several high-profile relationships before marrying Jeremy Parisi in 2022, the 45-year-old star

recently revealed that the most difficult breakups in her life have not been romantic but instead friendships lost due to differing life paths.

Losing Friends to Motherhood

In a candid discussion, Kelly admitted that one of the hardest aspects of not having children has been the gradual drift from friends who have become parents.

Speaking openly, she shared how she often feels sidelined when socializing with friends who are now mothers.

“The most difficult thing for me not having children over the last 20 years has been losing friends because your lives are so different,” she said. “It’s sad in a way. I miss a lot of my old friends who have kids. To be honest, when I go for lunch and I’m watching them mother their children, I get a bit like, ‘I want the attention, you’re my friends.’ I don’t want to sit there watching people parent.”

Her perspective highlights a common yet rarely discussed dynamic—how friendships can change when one person enters parenthood while the other remains child-free.

Her Journey with Motherhood and Decision to Be Child-Free

Kelly, who was once named Sexiest Woman in the World in 2005, has had a well-documented romantic history, including relationships with actor Jason Statham and former rugby player Danny Cipriani. She was also engaged to ex-fiancé Thom Evans, with whom she tried to start a family. Unfortunately, she suffered a miscarriage in 2011, an experience that deeply affected her.

Now, she and her husband Jeremy Parisi have decided not to pursue having children. Reflecting on her past struggles, Kelly told Prima magazine:

“In my 20s and 30s, I had miscarriages and past relationships that took their toll on me, physically and emotionally. It affected my life, my career, and how I looked at myself; it made me feel like a bit of a failure. It made me judge my partners negatively, by how they responded to it. I never had a really positive experience with pregnancies and trying for children.”

Tired of constant speculation about whether she would start a family, she has now firmly put the topic to rest. “We’re not having children” is her definitive stance, which she acknowledges may shock some people. However, she has found that her honesty has resonated with many women who share similar experiences.

Embracing a New Identity Beyond Glamour Modeling

Although Kelly Brook became a household name through modeling, acting, and television, she has since taken on a new chapter in her career. Now best known for co-hosting Drivetime on Heart FM alongside Jason King, she has transitioned from her glamorous public image to a more grounded, personal brand.

Last year, she and her husband Jeremy participated in the BBC series Celebrity Race Across the World, which allowed her to present a different side of herself.

“Kelly Brook has been around for 20-odd years; it was something I created. My name’s Kelly Parsons, and Kelly Brook was an alter ego, this public persona, glamour model, and actress,” she explained. “Doing Race Across The World, I wanted to reintroduce myself as someone who actually has interests outside of entertainment—who loves my husband, loves my dog, loves my garden, cares about nature, cares about travel, and being aware of what’s going on outside of the country I live in.”

While she and Jeremy enjoyed the experience, the couple faced some challenges during the competition, even finishing last due to an unexpected bus breakdown. Kelly admitted that she sometimes played up for the cameras, recognizing that reality television thrives on engaging interactions.

Preparing for a New Challenge: The London Marathon

With her television and radio career thriving, Kelly has set her sights on a new challenge—running the London Marathon. As part of her training, she has received some rather unconventional advice, including a tip on preventing chafing.

She humorously recalled a moment with her husband Jeremy when she purchased silicone lubricant from a store in New York. “We were in New York recently, and I saw this pleasure shop. I said, ‘I need to go in here and see if they’ve got this.’ And Jeremy said, ‘What’s it for?’ And I said, ‘It’s for my breasts.’ I didn’t tell him it was for the marathon.”

Reflections on Body Image and Pressures in the Industry

Now at 45, Kelly feels more comfortable in her own skin than ever before. Looking back at her earlier years in the industry, she acknowledges the intense scrutiny she faced.

“I look back at pictures of myself, and people would say I was overweight and curvy, and I was 3st lighter than I am now. It’s just bizarre how much scrutiny I was under as a young woman,” she reflected. “At 45, I feel sorry for my younger self, because there was no one there to support me. If anything, when the vultures came in to get you, everyone didn’t want to be around you because no one wanted it to affect them. No one would really put their neck out and stick up for you.”

A New Chapter for Kelly Brook

Kelly Brook’s journey has been one of reinvention and self-discovery. From her early days as a glamour model to her current life as a radio host, TV personality, and marathon runner, she has continually evolved. While she has chosen a child-free life, she remains fulfilled with her career, marriage, and personal passions.

Her candidness about friendships, motherhood, and the entertainment industry offers a refreshing perspective, proving that happiness comes in many different forms. Fans can read her full interview in the April 2025 issue of Prima magazine.
