Ruth Langsford has spoken openly about moving forward with her life after her split from Eamonn Holmes,

revealing that she has fully accepted the end of their marriage and is embracing life as a strong, independent woman at 65. 

The television presenter, best known for her work on Loose Women and This Morning, 

has shared how she is focusing on her future and refusing to let the pain of the past hold her back.

A New Chapter After Divorce

Ruth and Eamonn, once one of Britain’s most beloved television couples,

 shocked fans in May 2024 when they announced their separation after 14 years of marriage and 27 years together. Having spent 15 years co-hosting This Morning between 2006 and 2021, they had become a familiar and cherished duo on daytime television. However, their romantic partnership came to an end, leaving Ruth to embark on a new journey on her own.

Now, as she approaches her 65th birthday in March, Ruth has revealed she is looking at this milestone as an opportunity for strength and renewal. She acknowledges that while the breakdown of any relationship is difficult, she has made the conscious choice to move forward rather than dwell on the past.

“Relationship breakdowns are very difficult—marriage, friendship, whatever it is—but you just deal with it and move on,” she said. “You can either let yourself crumble or you pick yourself up and get on with life. It’s a choice.”
