Years ago, he appeared on Million Pound Drop with his famous father, musician Martin Kemp, and made a costly mistake. “I once lost my dad a million pounds on Million Pound Drop,” he admitted. “It was peak Twitter, and I got absolutely slaughtered for it. I felt so stupid.”

That experience has influenced his approach to hosting The Finish Line. His goal is to ensure that contestants have fun, regardless of whether they win or lose. “I never want people to leave feeling bad,” he said. “It’s a game, and it should be enjoyed.”
