Elon Musk has reportedly welcomed his 14th child with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis.

The news was shared by Zilis in a social media post on Friday, February 28, revealing the arrival of their newborn son, Seldon Lycurgus.
While she confirmed the baby’s name and shared her joy, she did not disclose the exact date of his birth.
Zilis, who now has four children with Musk, expressed her excitement about their newest addition, writing,

“Discussed with Elon and, in light of beautiful Arcadia’s birthday, we felt it was better to also just share directly about our wonderful and incredible son Seldon Lycurgus.

Built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold. Love him so much.” Musk responded to her post with a heart emoji, signifying his happiness.

This latest birth comes after Zilis and Musk secretly welcomed twins, Strider and Azure, in November 2021. The twins arrived just weeks before Musk and musician Grimes welcomed their daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl, through a surrogate. In addition to his children with Zilis and Grimes, Musk has several other children from previous relationships.
Adding to the complexity of Musk’s growing family, Grimes recently posted on social media about her relationship with Zilis, indicating that they have reached a better understanding regarding their children with the Tesla CEO. Grimes and Musk share three children together, including X Æ A-12, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus, also known as Tau.
Despite celebrating the birth of his newest child, Musk is currently facing a legal battle concerning another one of his children. Conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair has filed a lawsuit seeking sole custody of a 5-month-old child she shares with Musk, identified in court documents by the initials R.S.C. St. Clair has requested Musk appear at the New York County Courthouse on May 29, where attorneys representing both parties will present their arguments.

The court battle between Musk and St. Clair has gained significant attention, especially after St. Clair’s attorney, Karen B. Rosenthal, accused Musk of deliberately avoiding the legal proceedings. Rosenthal stated that Musk has yet to accept the court filing, whether in person or through his legal representatives. The attorney emphasized that no lawyer has formally stepped forward to represent Musk in the case through the New York State Courts Electronic Filing (NYSCEF) system.
Rosenthal criticized the situation, stating, “Despite requests, Mr. Musk has still not accepted service of the motion papers via his alleged attorneys, which is easy enough to do. As a result of avoiding personal service, he has prolonged the litigation and caused unnecessary distress. It should be noted that no attorney has opted into the NYSCEF system claiming they represent Mr. Musk. We don’t have anyone we can properly speak with. It’s unnecessary gamesmanship when there’s an infant involved.”
Beyond the custody dispute, Musk could also face financial obligations if the judge rules in favor of St. Clair. The court will determine whether Musk should be required to provide child support payments for R.S.C. The high-profile nature of the case has sparked widespread discussion, especially considering Musk’s well-documented views on population growth and his emphasis on having a large family.

This legal battle adds to Musk’s already complex personal life, which has seen multiple children born within short timeframes and relationships with multiple partners. With his responsibilities spanning across Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, and other ventures, Musk’s expanding family life continues to draw public interest.
As the custody case unfolds, it remains to be seen how Musk will respond to the court’s demands and whether he will make any public statements regarding his child with St. Clair. For now, the billionaire appears focused on his work and his newest child with Zilis, as well as his other children from previous relationships. The upcoming court date on May 29 is expected to shed more light on the legal proceedings and Musk’s involvement in the custody battle.
