Susanna Reid has opened up about her thoughts on single life and raising her three sons in a recent interview, making it clear that she is perfectly content with her current situation.

The Good Morning Britain presenter is a devoted mother to Sam, 22, Finn, 20, and Jack, 18, whom she shares with former BBC sports journalist Dominic Cotton.
Although their romantic relationship ended after 16 years, the two have remained on good terms as co-parents.
During a candid conversation with Bella Magazine, Susanna reaffirmed her single status and emphasized that she enjoys her own company.

She explained, “I’m perfectly happy with my own company.” While she spends her days engaging with people in her professional life,

she finds great joy in the close-knit bonds she shares with her family.

Two of Susanna’s sons currently live at home with her, and she acknowledges that she will face an emotional adjustment when they eventually move out. She admitted, “When the boys leave home, I know that’s going to be challenging.” However, for now, her children appear to be in no hurry to fly the nest. Her youngest son is finishing school, marking the end of an era for her as a mother. Reflecting on this transition, she said, “At every stage, there’s going to be the last time. The last time I take him to school, the last time I pick him up, and that is quite an emotional feeling. I know lots of mums and dads feel like that.”
Despite the bittersweet nature of these milestones, Susanna takes comfort in the fact that her middle son remains at home while attending university. She added, “They don’t seem eager to leave the nest.”
Although Susanna is content with her single life, there are those who would love to see her re-enter the dating scene. Relationship expert and Celebs Go Dating star Paul Brunson recently shared his thoughts on the matter, revealing that Susanna would be his ideal guest on the reality matchmaking show. Having worked with numerous celebrities, including Vanessa Feltz and Chloe Burrows, Brunson expressed his desire to see someone of Susanna’s stature participate. He stated, “I would love for us to have people on the show who ordinarily don’t show their private life. Someone like Susanna Reid would be great! She is someone who everyone holds in high esteem and everyone likes, but no one really knows much about her private life. It’d be an honour to have Susanna on the show.”

Despite the suggestion, the GMB host seems to have no interest in pursuing a public love life at this time. Since her split from Dominic in 2014, she has successfully maintained her privacy when it comes to relationships. Unlike many public figures, Susanna rarely discusses her personal affairs, preferring to keep the focus on her career and family.
One of the few times she did address the topic was during an episode of Good Morning Britain in 2021. She openly shared that marriage was never a major priority for her, explaining, “It was a personal choice. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned idea that children are ‘illegitimate’ if you’re not married. Children are legitimate, whether you’re married or not.”
Her remarks highlight her independent nature and modern approach to family life. While societal norms often place an emphasis on marriage, Susanna has never felt pressured to conform to expectations. Instead, she has focused on what truly matters to her—being a devoted mother and excelling in her career.
For now, the television star appears more than happy with the life she has built. Whether or not romance is on the horizon, Susanna Reid continues to thrive both personally and professionally, proving that happiness does not have to come from a relationship but from within.
